Observational Drawing

  • Starting April 20 (Mondays) 9:30am-11am - Observation Drawing with Erin Deneuville. This class is for students at any experience and skill level. Observation drawing is a great practice for training our attention. So, whether you want to learn the basics of drawing what you see, you are building your portfolio for school, or you are looking for ways to relax or expand your mindfulness practice, this class is for you! Students will learn about line and contour, shading and value, relationships like negative and positive space, proportion, perspective, and how to choose and use a variety of drawing materials. Cost: Pay What You Want. Supplies provided. If you have a drawing board or easel, bring it along! Ages 10+

Lantern Making Workshop

  • June 14 (Sunday) 1:30-3:30pm - Make a handmade pyramid lantern with paper and a simple frame, assemble, and take it home ready to glow (LED only). What's included:
  • Frame materials, translucent paper, LED lantern light and hook, decorative elemtns, and lantern pole
  • Tools (scissors, tape, rulers, adhesives)
  • Step-by-step instruction Suggested ages - 11+ (under 16 with an adult). $10 supply fee. Bring a tote bag and tall kitchen size plastic garbage bag or sheet of plastic for transport (lantern is deicate until thoroughly dried). Reserve your spot by filling out this form.
