Rooms
We have the space for all of your needs here at the Dryden Center for Community!
Community Room - capacity 120 - First floor, linoleum-tiled floor, lots of tables and chairs!
Yoga Room - First floor, medium-sized space perfect for smaller gatherings, yoga or meditation, eventually small dance classes after new flooring is installed.
Kitchen - Our certified kitchen is ready for classes and community meals with a large double-oven, 6-burner plus griddle stove and 2 refrigerators.
Performance Space - capacity 190 - Second floor (elevator available), spacious, vaulted ceiling with pressed tin walls and ceiling, sturdy hardwood pews, a Mason & Hamlin baby grand piano and 1934 Wickes pipe organ. Sound equipment available.
Classrooms - Second floor (elevator available), 7 classrooms of varying sizes for meetings, lessons, rehearsals, get-togethers. Three classrooms contain pianos. All rooms have the flexibility of optional tables and chairs to meet your needs. Rooms have bulletin boards and/or white boards.
Rates
Here at the Dryden Center for Community, we are striving to provide reasonably-priced room rentals that meet the needs of the community and also help us to maintain this beautiful facility.
Community Events - For events that are free and open to the community, the Community Room fee is $100 and the Performance Space fee is $200. These fees cover a 4-hour block that includes both set-up and clean-up of the event.
Private Events - For private events, the Community Room fee is $200 and the Performance Space fee is $300. These fees cover a 4-hour block that includes both set-up and clean-up of the event.
Kitchen - The kitchen is available for a sliding scale fee of $20-40 per hour. Please contact us for day rates. info@drydencenter.org
Classrooms and Yoga Room - These rooms are available at a sliding scale fee of $10-$20 per hour.
